Unlike blanchers which use abrasive rolls, our patented Model 346-C uses rubber elements to produce the highest quality, best-looking nuts with the least amount of shrinkage - no scratches anywhere. And true to its name, it gently blanches 2000 pounds per hour of peanuts for snack foods, confectionery candy and similar products.
Pre-Aspiration Module: Removes loose red skins from product flow prior to blanching, thereby increasing blanching results and capacity.
Flow Control: Oscillating feed tray, feed gate and discharge tray allow for consistent flow control.
FDA-Approved Specially Formulated Rubber Blanching Rolls: Because our machine uses rubber blanching rolls, which remove red skins without excessive brushing or rubbing, shrinkage is lower than on any other rubber roll blanching machine. Blanched peanuts are delivered free of meal and scratches.
Adjustable Blanching Force: Adjustable rolls ensure effective blanching of all sizes of nuts. Our adjustment control systems allows a variety of gap settings to within 1/1000 of an inch.
Adjustable Blanching Slip: Independent roll speed controls allows the operator to adjust the degree of blanching to exactly the desired results. This feature makes the Feathertouch 2000 highly versatile and easily adapted to a variety of products and product variations.
Red Skin Removal: Adjustable aspiration assembly and vacuum nozzle, removes red skins from blanched product stream. Separate vacuum sections clean the lower section of the blancher and prevent skin build up.
Variable Speed Drives: The Feathertouch 2000 is equipped with three variable speed drives which have been wired and pre-configured for immediate operation. The built-in digital tachometer ensures the operator will be able to repeat optimum blanching results.
Functional Design: Clean-lined exterior, easily accessed interior and plexiglass windows provide safety, visibility and ease of maintenance.
