This highly versatile, Single-Disk Attrition Mill can be used in all kinds of production and laboratory applications of both industrial and food products. Its dependable performance makes it the mill of choice for a wide number of agricultural experimental stations, university laboratories and industrial research and production departments. It also gives superior performance as a production machine as well, producing 1,000 to 2,000 pounds of smooth, easy-to-spread peanut butter, perfectly blending stabilizer, salt, dextrose, etc., to produce a mix of creamy smooth consistency.
Nihard Mill Plates: A variety of designs and patterns provide virtually unlimited milling options.
Drive Motor: These mills are extremely versatile, with motor options ranging from 3 HP to 30 HP or arranged for a V-belt drive. Maximum speed is 3600 RPM.
Plate Adjusting Wheel: This calibrated wheel controls clearance between plates in increments of 0.001 inches (0.025 mm) for precision grinding.
Maximum plate opening is 3/8" (9.5 mm).
Head Unit: The head unit is designed to facilitate quick inspection and access to attrition chamber for servicing, plate change, cleaning, etc. It is constructed with standard cast iron for maximum durability.
Carbon Steel Shaft: This precisely machined shaft is built for the ultimate in accuracy and durability.
Thermometer: Continuously monitors discharge temperature, which can be used as a quick reference of mill performance.
Built-In Ammeter: Monitors load on main drive motor.
Optional Screw Feeder: Improves versatility of mill with variable speed capacity control.
Optional 316 Stainless Steel Construction: Stainless steel construction is available on all parts in contact with the product.
