Our Stoneless Masa mill produces 2,500 - 6000 lbs/hr of finished masa. The mill is simple to use, dependable and robust. This unit does not use grinding stones & does not require shim stock to establish parallelism between the stationary disc and the rotating disc. The plate life of our mill is rated at approximately 10 million pounds of processed masa before replacement is needed. Rocks, metal, and foreign debris will not destroy the super strong proprietary Nihard alloy plates.

- Integral screw feeder comprised of 5 cu ft stainless steel hopper; 4” dia stainless steel feeder screw
- Shaft mounted reducer
- 1-HP Washdown Inverter Duty VFD Motor for 3/60/230 - 460 VAC
- Sanitary stainless steel grinding chamber; designed for simplistic plate tramming; top & bottom chamber access to allow gap confirmation; precision-fit hinged front door provides quick access for cleaning & repeatable relationship between grinding surfaces
- Stainless Steel discharge chute with safety sample door.
- Heavy-duty shaft assembly comprised of stainless steel rotating disc & shaft, two sets of matched precision bearings
- High performance linear ball screw & zero back-lash, 3600:1 reducer to maintain a grinding gap within .001”.
- Digital & motorized gap control system provides simple, repeatable operation during the milling process; including encoder, digital display, push buttons, stainless steel enclosure, motor starter & motor for 1/60/230.
- Shaft assembly drive consists of a 75-HP to 125/hp VAC motor; high performance pulleys; one pre-mounted spare belt; stainless steel belt guard & cowling
- Rigid welded frame and motor plate of 304SS construction
- Grinding components suitable for soaked corn masa; Two proprietary alloy grinding plates
- Stainless steel inlet transition, feed flinger with plate wipers.
- Motor selected to yield roughly 175 RPM feeding speed and 750 RPM milling speed.
